END OF TOUR DATE SUPPORT SLOT UP FOR
GRABS!...............................
Our end of tour headline gig (no Motorhead, full setlist) in Gloucester has no support act as yet..... so if there's anyone out there who fancies giving it a go get in touch!
The show will be held in the wonderful Spiegeltent which features at Brighton festival each year and has hosted some pretty wacky events in it's time, so anything goes.... stand up, gypsy guitar twiddling, burlesque, casiotone keyboard mayhem, potential Paul Daniels's out there could even try some conjuring..... but preferably no punk bands please as we've had a lifetime's enjoyment of listening to that kinda music already that's all the same.
Links to Myspaces, websites, Youtube, etc are essential in assessing potential acts, but please be quick as the gig's on NOVEMBER 30th!
cheers - Cap
PS - we've just set up an email address - so contact us at.......
END
OF TOUR DATE ADDED...........................................
The band are delighted to announce that they've added a new show at the end of the current tour. This will take place in the amazing Spiegeltent Majestic in King's Square, Gloucester on the evening of Monday 30th November. "We're really looking forward to finishing the year off in fine style in the Spiegeltent. We always have fun in Gloucester and this promises to be something very special."
if this Twit thing works I'll run it thru the Motorhead tour as an tryout. If it's good enuf for Steven Fry and all that. It might be interesting for those who are coming to a show - to see what goes on behind the scenes, etc.
Personally, I'd have loved to find out what Brian Auger, Stray and The Groundhogs got up to on the way to a show a food fight at Watford Gap perhaps, van breakdown...... or getting pulled over by the Cops for a traffic infringement.
It's not all comfy sofas and champers backstage I can tell you.... all sorts of stuff drives bands round the bend on occasion during touring so I thought I might share some of it with y'all.
You want to know about Stu's unstoppable curry fetish, Pinch's latest gadget or just who Mr Vanian is listening to on his Ipod at the minute I'm sure.
I might even broach on the thorny subject of Monty's strange and occasionally quite antisocial habits if you're lucky!
Anyway, it'll be summat new for me to experiment with so if you're that way inclined come and Twitter away with THIS old Twit,

CAPTAIN'S ALL EXCITED ABOUT SOMETHING. WE'LL
LET HIM TAKE OVER SHALL WE...
Ladies and Gentlemen..... until now my wonderful 80s A+M albums have been unavailable on CD but those lovely people at Cherry Red Records haveplucked them out of obscurity and restored them to their former glory.
Needless to say, I'm thrilled so I've helped out with the sleeve notes and rummaged through my drawers for some fun photos from way back and I have to say that I am EXTREMELY happy with the results.
I've also added quite a few interesting bonus tracks - some of which are atrifle off the wall it has to be said (Damned on 45 anybody?) so, if you fancy hearing some of my 80s recordings with genius producer Tony Mansfield CLICK THE ALBUM COVER FOR DETAILS.
LIVE SHOWS VIA INTERNET - WIFI ACCESS You'll
be happy to know that we've managed to resurrect the live gig streams.
Last night's show at Boston was streamed and made for fun viewing.
Whenever
we have wifi access at the gigs we will endeavour to stream the show
live on ustream.tv. This will be sporadic and the quality can't be
guaranteed but we feel it will be of interest to fans who can't make it
to the show. We hope you enjoy!"
