4 GIGS TO GO!

Blimey... the tours nearing the end... 4 gigs to go. Can't wait 4 Brighton but our long suffering agent Chris Monk will go ballistic when he see's me 'n Monty's guestlists for that one!

This has to be one of the most memorable and fun tours ever. Everybody is getting on great and helping each other whenever someone catches a cold, a piece of equipment goes down or some other problem arises.... there's a spirit of the show WILL go one, whatever has occured.

We're playing good and Mr Vanian is in fine voice... I know I always say it but I cannot think of a better singer in the UK today than our Mr V!

The support acts auditions by email thing... organised by Chris (agent) and Pinch has been a total success and we have been treated to some simply great innovative bands on this trip... too numerous to mention but the Citizens and Mutant Cabaray spring to mind. Are they signed to a label? They should be.

Add to this the fabulous burlesque ladies (for which thanks for the organising of must go to our esteemed drummer Pinch) and I hope you agree it's been another tasty Damned winter tour which I for one have enjoyed thoroughly.

For those of you that I met on our travels can I say thanks for the nice comments and occasional drinkies I have gratefully recieved.... and of course many thanks for coming to see your chums the Damned.

all the best - Captain Sensible

Oh... and could I ask a favour of any photographers out there who have a decent pic of me with either the 'Marshall' amp sign or the 'Ltd' guitar logo showing as these companies are real nice to your old guitarist chum and will continue maintaining my equipment if we give them a bit of positive feedback. LARGE uncompressed files please to Anita, thanks playmates (If you do have any photos, email them to yourstuff@officialdamned.com so as not to jam my inbox, ta! - Anita).

Oh, and don't forget to check in on Captain's Tour Diary!
