PAUL FOX - RIP
We hear with sadness that the wonderful guitarist and all round good bloke Paul Fox of The Ruts has died.

As a good friend of The Damned he will be sadly missed and anyone who attended those 70's UK Damned / Ruts shows saw a hell of a show - I for one will never forget that amazing tour. It WAS pretty wild and looking back I wonder how we kept it all together and actually performed each night what with all the mayhem that was going on at the time. We called it the '24 hour club' in which nobody was allowed to go to sleep (or else!) .... so you can imagine the state we were in after a few days! But we were young and mad so it didn't seem to bother us too much.

Gigging with Foxy and the Ruts with Henry Rollins on vocals a few months ago at the Islington Academy was real nice.... Paul played as great as he ever did and they went down an absolute storm.

Just unforgettable..... like the music of the Ruts.... like Paul himself.

THE TWISTED CABARET OF THE DAMNED
The winter 2007 tour dates have now been confirmed. 'The Twisted Cabaret of The Damned' will begin on the 28th November in Peterborough, and ends 20th December in Brighton.

Along the way, one of the tour highlights will be a unique chance to see The Damned in their first ever theatrical appearance, when they take a 'starring' role in The Texas Chainsaw Travelling Horror Picture Show - "the bizarre world of Dr Marcusi and his travelling collection of grotesque creatures and freakish performers." Catch the show at the London Forum on 30th November.

Supporting The Damned will be a set of performers consisting of Mimi Le Meaux and Missy Malone (providing burlesque entertainment) and Kitten On The Keys. There will also be one other local, alternative entertainment act, for which there will be a competition to win this prestigious slot! (Details to be announced soon - watch this space.)

For full details of the tour, see the Dates page.
