CALVERT TRIBUTE GIG My old chum Nik Turner is leading an all day
tribute gig to celebrate the music and poetry of Robert Calvert.
There
will be all sorts of weird and wonderful Hawkwind related guest performers....
sleepy Herne Bay (where my parents dragged me once for an extremely tedious family
holiday) won't know what hit it - sounds like fun, eh!

TOUR CONFIRMED The Damned will be kicking off their annual winter UK (and
Ireland) tour beginning in Southampton on November 15th and ending
in Brighton on December 21st. During the tour they will be celebrating
the release of their new album in London on November 19th; performing
at the All Tomorrow's Parties fest in Minehead on December 7th and
stopping off at the Rebellion Festival in London on December 13th.
