can I say Ive been to a few Damned gigs now but last night was the
worst.
The band were great playing 100% as usual but the sound mix was diabolical.
Couldnt hear shit there were quite a few bands on at the festival
argy bargy were ace.

I
went to see the whole festival, and I have to say, The Damned were
great. But, I agree with K&D... the sound was very bad.
The Damned were great, but the sound quality did let them down (as
was the same for a lot of the bands on the bill). Captain's guitar
was very muddy and Stu's bass sounded way too loud. The only thing
the sound folk did get spot on was Monty's keyboards - they sounded
excellent, especially during Can't Be Happy.
I'd
expected the set to be a lot shorted seeing as it was a festival,
but it was quite lengthy - even coming back for a second encore to
finish their set with I Fall.
