LONDON - THE FORUM
With 'The Texas Chainsaw Travelling Horror Picture Show'
Friday 30th November 2007

Many familiar faces... including Cax, Damnbird, Combat Plumber, Ruth, Duggie, Wayne, Gina, Liverpool, Maff, NG, Miche, Andy, Billyboy, EV, Drinkies & co, SF, Wav, Woody ... and others that I will have missed.

I watched from upstairs. Andy popped upstairs and commented on the difference in sound between top and bottom. Must say the sound upstairs seemed great.

I thought Queenadreena were t'rific. Excellent sound and just what I expected of them. I can certainly understand why many don't like them though.

Texas Chainsaw show was embarassing. Like watching a BAD kids panto. Oh how Eddie Tenpole would have been so much better in the compere role.

In the short set, 3 that weren't played at Peterborough (Antipope, Love Song, New Rose), giving 20 separate numbers so far over the 2 winter shows.

Shadow of Love played live in London for the 1st time since December 2000! ... so I am guessing there will be many that have NEVER heard this live before.

Set:
Nasty
Street of Dreams
Neat Neat Neat
New Rose
Wait For The Blackout
13th Floor Vendetta
Shadow of Love
History of The world
Eloise
Absinthe
Ignite

Encore:
Love Song
Antipope
Smash It Up (pt2 only)

Damned tubes ... thankgawd for the 134 bus to Tottenham Court Road and a good pair of legs. But a walk down Oxford Street to Marble Arch... Oxford Tube to Oxford... and a drive home meant I was home by 04:00 (Gulp).
